Our experience goes back to 1999 when Macromedia Flash became a popular and powerful tool for web design. Although Shockwave Flash started in 1996 it was until the last year of that decade when they registered 100 million installations of the Flash Player. Flash technology changed the way of interacting and presenting online content, and opened a new door with infinite possibilities, adding interactive content combined with plain html text.

Since then web designers have focused too much attention on the graphical aspects of web development leaving on a side many other factors that are essential for successful projects. In Multimedia Solutions and Consulting, we grew up with the creative influence that Micromedia left behind, but we matured knowing that the web is not a design gallery, but a powerful tool of comunication.

In the present everything goes through the net, that is why we are prepared with proffesionals that are able to handle and manipulate this information in anyway possible. We keep our technology up to date, using validation tools for universal compatibility. XML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, CGI, PHP, MYSQL, Actionscript 3, and combined methods (AJAX, Jquery, DOM, etc)

Multimedia Solutions and Consulting formally started in 2002 under the name of multsolc* when our first site was developed as a freelance project. multsolc was created by Eduardo Ponce de Leon as a new proposal for web development.

In 2004 multsolc becomes Multimedia Solutions and Consulting (multsolc was the acronym), and becomes popular on the web as MultimediaXP, XP is short for eXPerts, and also as an unofficial reference to Microsoft Windows XP, the most popular Operating System of that time.

In MultimediaXP, we believe that our services must be integral, this means that you don't have to rely on 3 or 4 different companies for a single task.

Our statement is to offer “integral solutions” in order to fulfill the needs of our clients. This means a service that includes: web design and programming, hosting, domains, graphic and corporate design (logo and color theme), printing services, content translations, SEO (search engine optimization), web management, technical support and equipment if needed (computer systems and network installations).
